Who we buy from, and whether we should — supplier master records, their sites and contacts, what each supplier can supply, repair or rebuild and where it is approved, their part numbers, lead times and contract prices for catalogue items, and how they perform.
Its central question:
Who can supply this part, are they approved for it, and how have they been performing?
It is a member of the Work & Supply network. Purchasing and Inventory refer to
suppliers by their network id and show the supplier number (SUP-0042), which links back
here; their forms find suppliers with the supplier search. Orders placed, missed
deliveries and rejected receipts reported on the network feed each supplier's performance
and open supplier issues.
